Application: Power Steering Fluid

The power steering on your Jaguar requires the correct power steering fluid to work properly, and it must be kept in good condition. The power steering fluid is pumped to the steering rack and acts to assist the driver with steering. The power steering fluid also keeps the seals in good condition. To do this it must be kept clean, and free of dirt and debris. Keep your power steering fluid level topped up to the correct level as indicated on the reservoir. As part of your annual service, the condition and level of your Jaguar's Power Steering Fluid should be tested, flushed and replaced based on the condition of the fluid, or according to the interval specified in Jaguar's Service Schedule.
