Parking Sensors are little proximity sensors mounted to the front and rear of your Jaguar (where equipped) and assist the driver with parking manoeuvres, or operating in confined spaces. They detect the proximity of objects within range and feedback to the driver with an audible sound or a graphic on the display. A faulty Parking Sensor on your Jaguar will not detect any objects or may keep indicating something when there is nothing there. A competent person with suitable diagnostic equipment can diagnose a faulty sensor, and narrow down which one is giving a false reading to identify the correct one to replace.
