The Camshaft Cover Gasket, sometimes called a Valve Cover Gasket, is a flexible seal that sits between the Camshaft Cover and Cylinder Head of you Jaguar's engine. Over time, the gaskets can go hard and engine oil can seep out under pressure. You might notice a smell of warm fumes if this oil is leaking onto the exhaust, or your Jaguar's engine looks like it has an oil leak coming from near the top. Have your Jaguar checked over for leaks by a competent person who will clean the engine properly and run it to see where the leaks are coming from.
