The Water Pump Gasket is a seal around the mating surface of the Water Pump in your Jaguar, to where it mounts to the engine. You should replace this gasket with a new one any time the water pump is removed for any reason. Most new water pumps will include a new gasket, but if refitting your old water pump, be sure to replace this gasket.
