The Radiator Fan in your Jaguar is operated by a clutch unit. If your fan clutch has failed, the fan will either not engage at all, which will lead to overheating, or it can be stuck on, meaning the fan is permanently engaged. This will mean extra noise from the engine bay, and your Jaguar might not be able to maintain the correct operating temperature as the cooling effect is greater than required.
