The Thermostat in your Jaguar's cooling system is situated in housing that seals the system around the Thermostat. If you notice that your Jaguar has a coolant leak from the Thermostat Housing area, the temperature gauge is fluctuating, it takes a long time to warm up or gets too hot, then have the cooling system checked over by a competent person who can remove and test the thermostat, and replace if necessary.
