The Crankshaft Main Bearings in your engine are thin metal rings in 2 halves that sit between the Crankshaft where it mounts to the block. Generally not replaced unless you are having the Engine on your Jaguar rebuilt or reconditioned. When you take the old ones apart, you can see if they are worn and require replacement.
