When securing the wheels to your Jaguar, it is crucially important for your safety and that of other road users, that you tighten the Wheel Nuts to the correct specified torque, and re-check around 30 miles (50km) later. If the Wheel Nuts have been overtightened, or the thread has been damaged, you should consider replacing them as you would any other damaged fastening on your Jaguar. It is very important the correct Wheel Nuts are fitted to guard against the wheels coming off causing a potentially very serious accident.
