The Cabin Filter in your Jaguar is a service item and should be replaced as per Jaguar's service schedule. Air drawn into the heating and air conditioning system is filtered to remove dust, pollen and debris before it is blown into the cabin. If the air flowing into the cabin through the vents smells a little musty, or your windows mist up on the inside even with the air conditioning is on, you may have a clogged or damp cabin filter and should consider replacing it. When replacing the cabin filter on your Jaguar, it is recommended to make sure any drain holes in the cabin filter housing are clear to let water drain freely, and any debris is cleaned out prior to installation of the new cabin filter.
