The Gearbox Sump Gasket sits between your Jaguar's Gearbox Sump Pan and the gearbox body and is there to seal the mating surfaces and prevent transmission oil leaking past under pressure. These gaskets can go hard over time, and become compromised, meaning oil can seep past. Replace this gasket with a new one any time the sump pan is removed. If you notice oil leaking from your Jaguar's gearbox, have a competent person clean the area properly, and investigate where the leak is coming from.
